Erica was introduced to dance and theatre at an early age, which led her on a journey to become a performer. She began training in ballet, jazz and modern dance at the age of 8 years old. Later, she continued her dance training at the Edge Performing Arts Center, Dance Arts Academy and the Hollywood Dance Center. She was a member of The Movement Company and Caribbean Spectacular dance companies for several years. She performed at the African Marketplace Festival as well as many other local events.
While taking classes at the Hollywood Dance Center, Erica was offered the opportunity to teach dance for preschool children. She enjoyed teaching children ballet, jazz, creative movement and gymnastics at recreation centers, preschools and elementary schools. She continued teaching and creating choreography for children and teens for over 10 years.

Erica’s interest in the theatre led to auditioning for a three-year theatre arts program through the Los Angeles Theatre Academy of which she became an alumna. She was also a member of the L.A. City Playhouse and The Attic Theatre and appeared in a variety of plays.
As a dancer, Erica gravitated towards Pilates for the core-based training and to maintain flexibility and strength. Soon thereafter, she decided to become a certified Pilates instructor and she successfully completed a 450-hour comprehensive training program through the Equinox Pilates Institute. She is passionate about empowering clients to achieve a lifestyle of health and wellness.
